Although I purchased this book, written by Jim Riley, primarily to learn and understand the Nashville Charting system, the example tracks provided are great fun to play along to and well worth the effort to either transcribe and play what Jim plays, or use the drumless versions to come up with your own grooves and fills.
The Example Songs
In addition to the audio charting examples and exercises to work through to learn the system, there are also 10 fully produced play-along recordings in various pop and rock styles, with drumless versions included. Stylistically they are all different, with a range of tempos and time signatures (straight and swung).
