The 9th full track in Song Charting Made Easy is this Beatles-style homage of a classic love ballad. The slow tempo of 73 bpm is quite challenging as it is easy to push ahead of the beat and spoil the feel.

My transcription of the full version (with drums) is fairly faithful to Jim’s playing, with some tweaks to suit my tastes.
Note: Although the book says that this song is 72 bpm, it is actually 73 bpm. Probably a mis-print in the book.

This was recorded using my Roland TD-25kv e-kit direct to Presonus Studio One on my MacBook Pro. I used Roland’s “Vintage Kit” as this seemed appropriate stylistically.
First verse and chorus are without drums, so skip ahead to around the 1m 25s mark for when the drums come in.
